Do you think the 2,25" PCE will fit the 2" standard exhaust ? (no 2" pce...)

I'm fairly sure it will. A Piper 2½" exhaust fit my standard (empty) pre-cat so the mount should be the same.
Why no call the guys at Piper to ask them? They were really helpful when I ordered my exhaust.

Mmmm... not so old...
I think it is more a matter of weight, 100 kg is 10% of the car weight, put 2 people of that weight and the car is stuck!!! Lacking torque...

Axel, you are lucky. My wife refuses to ride in the New Lady.
She is terrified of her because their is nothing to hold on too.
So take it from the above for the modifications I listed.

Thanks Steve, my wife is terrified too !!! Impossible to take her for a ride!!! But I like to go with a friend from time to time. (more often with children, but as they are very young, no weight issue!)

I will go for the PCE with next servicing, may by a complete line after ...

There is a detailed report from Chris.t in the Piper group buy thread (He has a 2¼" with 1 silencer), but the thread itself is a bit long, so I can forgive you for not trawling thought it . His report echos my experience with the system.

Off-boost performance is increased, which neither of us expected.
Once on-boost, the turbo is pushing charge into the engine so with less exhaust restriction, we expected more torque.....we were (are) not disappointed.
The sounds is great too. Unlike the Peco, the Piper is quiet when cruising. Open it up in a tunnel & it makes a great noise.

The guys from Piper gave me confirmation that it is possible to fit just the PCE on a OEM exhaust line, and that should give a 4 to 8 bhp power increase , I will go for that and will provide feedback once done.
(of course it will still be possible to fit a full Piper line after...)
