A quick question before I start dismantling the exhaust.
I have a non-catalyst Turbo SE OEM exhaust to fit. I was looking at the connection from downpipe to the first front section as I thought there would be a gasket. I see that this is a dry join with some sort of steel wool/fibre olive used to provide the seal.
My question is, considering that the exhaust has been on for some time will this olive need replacing??? And if so is it only available from Lotus dealers or are there alternative parts?
Sorry I know that's 2 questions.
Cheers

To answer my own post:
Yes it probably will and it is quite a common part that any garage that sells/fits exhausts should have.
Hope this helps.......................me.
