exhaust manifold crack

i made a discovery;while getting the car ready for the new exhaust system ( peco)
seems like there are a few cracks in my exhaust manifold...
I only found some pieces of info on his issue... so does anyone else has/had the same problem and what are the option
i've a 91 Se turbo eu, 80000 km (oceanblue.... if that matters )
i was gonna put my name down on the new Piper Exhaust Down Pipe adding a peco exhaust manifold.. (seems like a logic next step..)
anyway all suggestions are welcome

I've had this on 3 manifolds - one i had welded (being cast iron it is a bit of a specialist job), one i 'fixed' with 'chemical metal', the other one i just left - doesn't seem to make any difference at all

seems like I'm making a fuss about nothing compare to yours, Gordon!
I haven't seen the bottom yet though.
maybe it's good to buy me a spare...

has anyone ever made a substitute to the OEM?
or is looking into it a waste of time or even not possible.

I think various people have looked into getting a stainless manifold made up, but there probably isn't much point until we start running out.
Might save a little weight but it'd be quite expensive and not an easy job given the space constraints. Probably not much potential for a performance boost either, from what I've read.
