Peco on a Fed?

Postby bratboy_y2k » Wed 03.08.2011, 19:00

So there is the used Peco system and I have a Federal M100 and tehre happens to be a used system up for sale. Does anybody know if it would be a direct fit?

Is there a power increase?

What are the potential hazards with the Peco?

I believe the Peco will fit the Fed. car.
It will be loud if you run it straight through. H.P. will increase maybe by 10
Putting the main cat into it will dampen the volume and a little H.P.
Larger exhausts often lead to overboost but great H.P.
Steve -w- Peco 2.25 and other stuff.

The central cat is still there but I wanted to get rid of it. I dont mind extra sound and the future plan in the 1.8 conversion which it sounds like this exhaust might handle properly. 10 extra hp isn't something to complain about but are there power or torque drops anywhere else in the curve that anybody knows about?
