I've snapped this >< - or it was already broken
Seems to be obsolete. Google, DeRoure, SJS, not providing anything.
Does anybody have any ideas what I can do to find a replacement?

A bit of old coat hanger I'd of thought, but how could it break?

You'll see in my thread. I'd like to say I can't believe it could have broken under removal, but when I gave it a wiggle it was acting weirdly so I think it was already a bit frayed.
Old coat hanger would certainly be how I'd replace it, but as its broken at a threaded section I am sure there would be some kind of threaded sleeve that would do.
But I'd like a fresh one if anybody has any ideas. I've contacted DVB and lotusparts.it both of whom claim to have stock.

£5.00 from Steve Strange. Pretty happy with that.

Will bear in mind. Nothing came up on eBay and this is the last out, first in item on the Elan so it would be holding me up. I've expended approx £35 from the Italian supplier and am awaiting word back from DVB on the £5 quote. Not too bad for what could have been a far more costly mistake. If I end up with two there will be a spare in future if anybody else suffers the same gross miscarriage of justice on removal of their heater.
