Robust Gear Cables ???

Hi guys & girls yet again my gear cables have snapped ! apart from spending £110 for 1 cable and nearly £300 labour costs to fit I does anyone know if anyone is doing more robust gear cables (would a short shift help)

No, it'd increase the load on the cables and kill them faster!
But it should be fine if they're good cables. Not sure about supply, now that the non-S2 options are not available.
