My Elan is a 1991 and she has a habit of just cutting out when you get to a junction and you take your foot off the gas. It's run fine for the last 6 months or so as I have driven her reasonably sensibly but she's started doing it again after the engine was revved for its MOT. When she's in a mood like this, she is also hard to start and keep running.
Any suggestions please.

Could be the CAS ( Cam angle sensor).See the wiki or previous threads here for the
gen on it.
