gearstick

My gearstick is in a bad way and needs repair or replace . I need to know before I start if it screws off as I would expect , or has Lotus had other ideas . Cheeers

At the bottom of it there is a very small Allen headed grub screw (feel around the bottom and you'll find it) take it out then unscrew the 'knob' in an anti clockwise direction.

If your gear knob is in a bad way I hate to think what the brakes, suspension components etc are like :shock:

Plenty of after market gear knobs out there. You may even pick up a brand new or 2nd hand OEM knob if that floats your boat ?
