Hi All,
Lotus Elan M100 S2 (1995)
I was having an MOT done (yearly road worthiness certificate in the UK) at a garage and asked them to replace the cable, however they are not keen on reusing the old clip and the supplied cable doesn't have one fitted! I'm hitting a bit of a wall when trying to source a RHD throttle cable that comes with the pedal clip fitted or even getting a sperate one! It seems that they no longer attached the clip to the RHD cables (they still appear to for LHD versions)!
Has anyone come across this issue before and if so how did you resolve it?
Any help or guidance would be warmly welcomed

i never heard of a throtle cable breaking. they are extremely over spec when you consider the forces they need to sustain.
