Evening Guys,
My Catalyst Overheat Tell Tale is burning. It burns after about 4, 5 minutes driving after a cold start. Strange because it's in 'Japan only' (page 17, Owner's Handbook) and my Elan is in Holland and has never been in Japan;-) Even stranger is that the sensor is disconnected and the computer says 'no failure'. Driving gives no problems at all. Strange too is that driving is necessary. When the elan is running idle the Tell Tale will not burn even when the fan is operating.
Does anyone have any idea why it's burning?
Thanx anyway.
Jan-Paul

JP, Henri has the sensor attached as well.
My first reaction would be to check if the pre-cat is cloaked
