Everest chip poor low tick over

I have just found time to fit my everest chip which i got in june to my 1992 se with no 02 sensor it now has a very poor tick over at about 500 rpm with lots of exhaust from the back do i need to fit a 02 sensor for it to run ok if so i am in big sh#t the top of the bolt where to sensor fits has just snaped off :banghead: lucky my car is a garage queen so i dont need it right now any help please

Which Everest did you buy. If it's not a 9239, 9929 or 9930 then you need an O2 sensor and wiring back to the ECU.

yes Geoff i think i may have cocked up you was spot on i have removed the chip and refitted the old one car works fine now checked the everest chip its a 1499 for a s2 or fed car my fault still lots to learn email has been sent trying to get it replaced if not will sell it, still the problem with the turbo which if i had ordered the right chip would not have happened :banghead: but it is still airtight hope its safe to use.
