Good Evening All
I need some help hopefully we can solve the issue i have with my elan. Car fires up straight away when cold ticks over fine when you go to pull away need to give more than light throttle or it stalls. Once on the move car runs fine tickover wavers once warm between 950 to 1250 rpm. Its has a mind of its own. Under the bonnet when car is running if you lightly touch the throttle arm car will stall. Have checked voltage at tpm 0.4 volts at 950 rpm and rises on engine revs.Shows 4 volts when throttle fully open. If you move the wires om tpm the revs either rise or engine stalls.Have checked all vac lines all looks good. Was going to look inside tpm but looks like the case is fully potted up with silcone.any ideas

have you checked the 90deg nut/elbow thing to the left of the plenum.......
mine did something similar a while ago and it turned out to be a small crack in the plastic
I’m normally not a praying man, but if you’re up there, please save me, Superman.

I had some running problems when I got mine. I didn't open the TPM but when I pulled back the sleeve over the wires, found this.

Might be worth a look.

Thanks for repiles i had perviously broked pipe off 90 degree vacuum pipe so have sorted that issue. Tpm wires are all in good condition soldered joints nice and clean good photo by the way. Have just removed the air inlet feed pipe from plenum to have a look inside its very sooty inside opened up throttle body to see inside plenum and air flow sensor looks all coked up. Will remove sensor and give it a clean nothing to loose i will let you know what happens.
Cheers
