I’ll add some photos tomorrow when I’m back at the PC and can resize them. The instrument pack simply will not sit square and far enough up towards the top of the dash panel for the trim to fit snugly in front of it.
Have given up for tonight, and if all else fails I’ll just put it all back loosely before it goes for MoT next Tuesday. It honestly, Lotus; couldn’t you have made it a bit EASIER?
Handmade cars? Give me mass-made every time. And meantime, does anyone have any helpful suggestions please?
The instruments go in through the cover OK, but can then get the plastic tabs on the bottom behind the brackets on the dashboard. Grrrr!
It’s just so annoying when you can see where you want it to go, you know it came out of there, and yet you simply can’t get it back in the right place. Will be trying again today and hoping for better luck this time
so HJ’s wise counsel obviously worked. I’ll have to drop off a bottle of jenever next time I’m in Delft.
