I need to replace my starter motor - it stuck in the 'on' position, constantly on the flywheel and has burnt out.
Can anyone recommend a dependable supplier for a relacement?
I've tried the aftersales list, but they don't seem to be listed.

I'm not sure they are obtainable. You can get them reconditioned at a reasonable price, but obviously your cars off the road whilst they do it.
4+ hours stuck in a damp bucket seat with a mad Irishman at the wheel - Deep joy!!!!

The guy who sourced us the alternators said he could probably get new starters too. Can you document any part nos/references that are on the unit and make some measurements to use as a reference?
PM me when your ready and I'll pass on his email address (don't have it to hand, will dig it out with a reminder).
