Power at coil check

Postby Hinch » Thu 28.05.2009, 12:54

Does anyone know if there is a simple way to check for power reaching the coil. Im sure there must be but having spent quite some time with circuit diagrams I can seem to establish which contacts to put the meter on.

(This a continuation of the problem I discussed under "Engine" but this specific question seemed more relevant to this section)

You're after the red wire (#3D on the circuit diagram) which is an ignition switched supply that goes to both the CAS and coil pack bracket.
