Too lean?

I expect that adjusting my CO pot and fiddling with the ECU connections leaves my engine in a too lean condition?

I'm hearing some quiet pops in the exhaust on overrun and plugs look like this:

These photos were taken after a drive to work and back (two warmups from cold, 7 miles each way) with no unnecessary idling anywhere except at traffic lights.

On the plus side, it starts much better now!

What's the consensus? Too lean?

Does the ECM adjust the whole fuel map using the CO pot, or just the idle map?
