Thanks to all who assisted me with my engine misfire problem. I can confirm that the problem is now solved. A BAD EARTH GOING INTO THE ECU. It is not enough to put an external earth on the ECU case from the engine manifold to check earthing. If an earth going inside the ECU is bad it will scramble the commands sent out. There is a simple way to test for this problem. With the engine running unbolt the ECU and let it be connected only through its cables. If the engine stops suspect a bad earth in the connectors to the ECU. Also check the ECU case for live voltage. My car is running fine now. Readit.
