Access to fuel tank

I haven't replaced the fuel lines, but I've had them off the tank and I've done the fuel filter. I've also swapped the engine so I've seen that end. In between, the lines just run along the bottom of the car.

I think your best bet would be to jack the car up nice and high at the back, disconnect everything, then drop the tank out. Replacing the lines should be relatively easy, then get the tank back in. The hardest bits will be reaching behind the engine to the unions, which may necessitate removing the coolant header tank, the ignition loom and the intake pipe, and doing the unions on the tank top which involves leaning in under the soft top cover and fiddling around!
