High CO on my S2... Again! (still)

This sounds like a complete nightmare for you H-J , and the laws regarding MOT's over there as well, hope you get it sorted out soon and back on the road mate.
The overiding thought in my head on reading this post is if it was my Elan and i started to have issues like that it would be the perfect signal that says its time to get a Honda K20 or maybe a B series in there, those engines rarely give any major grief and when anything does go wrong they are a joy to work on, the Type R's are so reliable, so well engineered and infinitely tuneable, one day it may well happen, kind of makes me feel a deathwish for my own Isuzu hunk o junk .

So: MOT was not a problem after pulling the plug! CO2 0f 0.35% where 3,5% is the limit So I can 'cruise' once again for another year.
But i really want to find what's causing the strange CO2 behaviour!

About that Honda:
An S2000 sounds OK, but i still prefer my Elan all together!
I would however trade the Elan for an NSX

I dont think there is anything in the same price range i would trade my Elan for H-J, but i must say i would love an excuse to boot out the Isuzu and replace it with the Honda Type R engine, that would then become my ideal combination, a Lotus Elan SE- TYPE R , certainly transforms the Elise, im sure it would also make for one seriously sweet M100.
