ignition key

my ignition key is stuck in the ignition and will not come out. The turns and operates normally for every position except the position where the key is removed from- stops about 1/8" from that position. Has anyone experienced the problem? (I have tried wiggling the wheel, rolling the car forward and back, starting it up again, wd40, etc)
