Cover for ignition trigger

Postby londoner » Sat 06.06.2009, 13:33

Hello fellow M100ers,

i have searched the forum but I haven't figured out what's a cover for ignition trigger? I was told to get one by my mechanic who said that mine cracked/shattered/melted.

Wasn't able to find it in the parts list. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Will he be referring to the Cam Angle Sensor cover ... have a look if it’s cracked.

Does anybody know where to get a replacement? I need it like pretty urgently.

hmmm... the guys in the thread here ( viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14843 ) were looking for it as well. Wondering if we would need to buy the entire assembly just for the cover.

Not in the way it did with an old distributor cap ... it will be there as a safety guard, and to keep dirt out.
