Has anyone thought about updating the tired looking ignition and key?

A stylish flip key and fob would look amazing, surely this can be possible even if the fob part is just there for show...

Your thoughts? :poke:

Bought a remote central locking kit from ebay last year, not got round to fitting it yet but it looks good. As a bonus it has an option for remote boot opening (something else I haven't fitted yet) Not sure which type as I am not at home

Flip key is similar to the Ford/VW ones and came with the correct GM blank for the ignition.

I thought the same so I just took the whole lot out! I left a veneer of security with an immobilizer that works on a little dongle.

Swapped my ignition key for the "laser cut" looking esprit key and ignition years ago. Also have had remote trunk release and alarm/keyless for a few years as well.
