2 & 4 not firing - fuel injector problems

Postby Quanta » Wed 09.10.2013, 19:02

Having now determined that 2 & 4 are not firing means I've got fuel injector problems rather than ignition problems, I am somewhat relieved. I just need info on where to look for the IHC B5 connector as I've read that this is where others have found a bad connection that can result from grime and time. Anyone that has had similar issues and resolved them, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

There are two threads that you might read

'Engine Misfire' and 'Re:engine misfire'

The second of these includes the advice - "The IHC connectors are just below and on front of the coolant bottle. There is a splice (represented by the circle) between IHC and the injectors +ve supply". The thread also offers advice on where to check supply and in uses a wiring diagram.

Good luck

I did. Found one of the injectors died. No resistance or continuity when tested with a multimeter.
