Misfire Problem (Can Anyone in the Sheffield Area Help)

An elderly friend who is quite new to Elan ownership has an SE Turbo. He has encountered a problem with the car misfiring when pulling away and running a little rough in general it is also putting out soot. I suggested it is most probably a coil pack problem or CAS was wondering whether there is anyone in the Sheffield area who might be able to have a look at his car or anyone might know a good garage who they can recommend in the Sheffield area.

Any help would be appreciated.
