Postby Patton » Mon 16.08.2021, 14:03

Hi all I have had a fuel pump issue , the pump doesn’t run for a second when the ignition is turned on intermit , I disconnected the connection from the pump and meter shows 12v for a couple of seconds every time ignition is turned on so thinking the pump is on the way out . I have see that Merlin motorsport have pumps but show 2 different ones , my car is a 1990 s1 turbo which one do I need of is there some where else to get one
Thanks for any advice

Have you checked the earth and grounding points ? And cleaned them ?

Also check the fuel pump relay. And the inertia switch is in the correct position

Check the simple/easy things first

Had a no-start issue also and found the Fuel cut off switch was up so mercifully an easy fix :)
