I am still struggling with my overfueling issue and consequential 4.1% CO at exhaust.
Today I checked the operation of the fuel reg . Tee piece inserted at inlet line with gauge and the return line disconnected and redirected around the car back into the tank filler cap.
The pressure at hot idle runs just about 48 psi on the gauge , there is a free flow of petrol back to the tank. Ive blanked the servo vacuum off , fitted a remote vacuum gauge via a tee in the MAP line and also tried a manual vacuum pull device on the fuel reg actuator , to simulate a better than normal vacuum to allow more fuel return .
I can see the O2 sensor still reads at 4.1 to 4.2v but starts off as it should so I believe its true. I have washed it in petrol to clean it.
I have a new USA set of injectors to try as the next step but I still have some doubts it will achieve anything.
When the open loop ECU was in , the minimum injector pulse period I saw was 0.8ms . This was a manual adjustment via the CO pot .
With the closed loop ECU and the Injector pulse period set by calculation from the O2 sensor derived voltage, the minimum I have seen is 1ms . This must indicate more fuel entry than at 0.8ms.
I must admit I don't have any understanding of the significance of the two O2 integrator figures. One of mine is reading 50 and the other 4E .
I have no faults showing .
