On my recently acquired basket case , i can only get it to run by supplying power directly to the fuel pump, i have power and an earth at the relay but don't know what i should be looking for at pin No 1 ? anyone?

Do you have an alarm or immobiliser?
The ECU is behind the glovebox
The pin configuration is in manuals EMK/EMJ on about page 98 with a description of what you should see at each pin. Remove the blue clip to get better access to the back of the pins.

Yes it has an immobiliser but that seems to be working as it disables cranking when armed, unless it disables cranking and the fuel pump but is only re enabling the crank and not the pump?
