Rear Light assembly

Postby Jim Brown » Sun 19.08.2007, 01:24

I have been trying to get a rear near side light assembly for a while now as I work away from home it is hard to monitor the sight as frequently as I wish but I would like to make a last attempt to buy a second hand unit if one is available within the uk :D

Jim,

They are in short supply and expensive (and cheap and nasty into the bargain). You're best bet is to post on the Wanted section (although maybe a friendly admin type will move this post) and don't forget to specify which side you're after.

You may have limited success at the moment, but Surfer_Phil is developing a new look rear panel with Elise lights; if and when they appear, there will probably be a surplus of original rear lights,

I'll check my spares...I don't suppose you could make it to Chaddesley Corbett on Tuesday next?

Erm, I must be as confused as Geoff then... what's the difference between a "Rear Light assembly" and a "Rear Light Cluster"? I will plead my ignorance here, but I thought you had the wire and the light cluster in the back and that's it?

A.

PS Please feel free to continue to lampoon the Geordie Goon's ramblings, it does make good entertainment :-D

:bonk: Mind you, you're lucky this Good-looking Geriatric Geordie was able to see the display at that time in the morning.

Jim,

I have a spare new one which I'll let go if your need is urgent. You can have for what it cost me - £140 plus postage.

Send me a PM.

If you're after a second-hand one, I've not seen one.
