Postby goodtime » Mon 08.03.2010, 15:36

Hello guys..

I wanna make my elan kr version look unique in korea.
I found elan korean version's dashboard looks different from m100.

I linked two images.

I wanna buy all us-spec dashboard parts..
I don't mind if it's used or not. ...
Please help me finding those.

I appreciate all inputs.

Have to say I like the look of the Korean Elan above, I suspect there are a lot of non standard parts on there.

All the parts are easily available from the usual stockists. Clicky

Some are cheap as chips and some will cost the earth.

One thing I have noticed, the car shown in the picture has heated seats which wasn't an option on the Lotus.

The only thing I could advise is to put them in the same position as the M200 for authenticity or see Here for the Vauxhall switches. (Not red, but White)

I'd also recommend changing the dash wiring loom as oppossed to replacing every connector and pin (One plug against loads)

I hope your project goes well, here's looking forward to seeing some more pictures.

vents, hazard switch and instrument light dimmer are also not the same as the US version. I really like the white-on-black gauges. Are these stock with the Korean Elan?

I particularly like the instrument panel. That rev counter is sooooooo much better than the nasty Calibra one Lotus decided to use.
Shame for us in the UK that the speedo is in km/h :(

Images fail to load now, but what was the gadget on the dash top with the head-up display?
