1.disconnect batter and airbag fuse ect. If the bag blows in your fact ur in trouble
2. Remove the 4 screws from the wheel and remove the airbag. They take a star type wrench to do so
3. remove the 18mm bolt in the center of the stock wheel and remove the steering wheel.
4. remove the black plastic over around the column with 2 screws under the column. You may want to reemove the knee pad as well
5. remove the 3 screws of the plastic on the column. You will know it when you see it. It's so when you use your blinker and turn the wheel, it clicks off the signal.
6. Behind it I think may be another couple of screws but can't remember. Anyway the point is to get to the plastic cone in the middle and remove it. Once you do Cut it down, I used a carpet cutter about 3/4 of an inch. You may also want to shave it down on the inside about 2mm because its a very tight fit around the hub.
7. do steps 5 - 3 in reverse order and tighten down the momo hub.
8. Finally install your steering wheel and connect the 1 positive wire to the horn.
9. Now you are finished.
NOTE: The hardest part of the modification is hollowing out the plastic piece and cutting it down with a carpet cutter.
I was weird at first having a smaller racing wheel but it looks WAY better than the stock fed airbag wheel. I also have a lot more leg room in the car now. Again, I'll post pictures soon but know that I'm no profession and I did this modification in less than 2 hours. So now there is proof to the FED owners that the 7903 isuzu momo hub will fit our cars. Good luck!
