The next step is getting it aligned. My local garage has just installed a JohnBean alignment system and was willing to measure the current suspension alignment.
The settings are all out - as expected after everything has been replaced
- but I now have something to start with. Here's what it currently looks like.They also checked for crabbing etc. Interestingly the NS wheels/tyres are both smaller than the OS, but within tolerance, probably the NS road surface wears out the tyres more quickly. The RHS is 1.5-2mm slightly forward of the LHS and the cross diagonal is out by 3mm. All these are within tolerance, which suggest my chassis is still straight

Once I have some spare camber shims I'll be going back to get them to finish the alignment.
