Ride height - clearance under sill

Postby Lotusian » Tue 08.09.2026, 14:36

I have height-adjustable dampers on my SE and would like to correctly set the ride height. I find it difficult to crawl around under the car to check ground clearance as specified in the factory data (with 1/2 tank of fuel plus 75kg driver), so could some kind person please make life easy for me by advising the clearance under the front and rear of the sills. Thanks

Right, on an S2 (bigger wheel but smaller profile).

Front 18.7mm
Rear 19.3mm

Measured under the furthest part of the sill front or back (nearest the tyre), where the curved part of the bodywork goes under and becomes level. If that makes any sense !!
