John

Your Donington mention did the trick and got me thinking.
I've just come off the phone from James - I phoned to say that I'd gladly represent him with a few kits next year at Donington, and I ordered a Yellow kit for myself as well.
I explained about the fact that a number of members take their cars off the road about now and carry out work, rebuild, enhancements etc and he's happy to carry 3 black, a blue and a red set as stock.
He's also happy to extend the 30% discount for members in to the foreseeable future
Did we know that Samco do their hoses in BRG too?

Bottom line...

It's all systems go!

Yep, i can confirm we're ready to roll :)

James has just rang me to confirm the orders. Nice work Sy :) Bring a big suitcase Doug

The first set will be sent to me for trial fitting to Montys elan.

I'm suprised just how quick this has taken off. Well done everyone!

Sy,
Well done. Nice connected thinking. Another example of your "If you don't ask you don't get" philosophy and exercising of your silver tongue.

Depending on when the US parties interested need their hoses, Donington may be an option (if everyone here can wait that long). Once the kit is complete, James said he would let me know on a shipping cost via courier. He'll weigh the package and may have a cheaper option for us.

I'm sure there is something cheaper than 60/per set that we can work out. Let's just stay in touch as things get completed so no one misses out.

Damn - sorry.

He asked me to point that out too. His £60 quote is for courier. He feels certain that it will reduce once he can weigh a kit and get a price from Royal Mail.

I have been out of town, but received an email from James that shipping via post should cut the shipping costs to the states in half. Going to give him a call on Monday to see if I can join in the fun, then... When faced with $120 shipping cost, $60 seems to be a downright bargain...

All ordered up.

Dave, Jim- any other US people interested/ordered- we can keep in touch with James regarding prices to ship together/separate and figure that out once we have figures. Whatever you want to do and whatever I can do to help I will.

Thanks for organizing/offering this!
