Chris, it won`t fit in to the same clip, u need the clips to attach to the rollbar (the same as the S2)

The SE buyers will also need clip for the main radiator hose:-

Swivel clip hose to anti-roll bar A100W6455F £1.31 from SJ's. Better of using 2 to keep the hose in shape.

I`ve had no trouble with the hoses fitting

it would also pay to put in place two sacrificial rubber pads around the hose, I cut mine out of the old existing top rad hose and used tie wraps to hold in place

Ordered mine, in Red from James today. He said he has black and blue in stock, the red have a 4 week lead time, worth the wait methinks :-D

Not sure on total price yet, but will update with more details later. Also, as mine is a Fed I discussed the slanted radiator, and the extra distance needed to the lower connector, James said they'd see what they could do, so I'll let y'all know what happens.

Not a bad Idea John, I'll probably do that as well then to be safe, I also replaced the original "hose protectors" (for want of a better word) that were on the hoses around the thermostat housing, you can't be too careful can you

As a follow up to the fit of the UK hoses to the US car, I can report no problems or leaks. As noted on the previous page, there were a few modifications to make things fit, but nothing major. This may be a moot point as it appears a group is trying to get together to do a US group buy, but if it doesn't work out or someone wants the replacements sooner, this is a viable alternative.

Note that the 90 degree bend below may not be necessary to adapt the UK -> US. I used it for a better fit between my aftermarket intercooler and aftermarket radiator.

Yamaha! Are their products factory recommended for Lotus repair... or have you been breathing 2-stroke exhaust again Dave? :wink:

I used to own an RZ350 BTW, the black & yellow Kenny Roberts edition. A true bonzai ride and the last of the great 2-stroke sport-bikes ever allowed on American roads. RIP, old read-valve exhaust pollution.

Yes, and everyone bought Canadian-pipes & carbs to take away the hesitation, flat-spots & bogging... which also added 12 to 16 HP. Those were the dark days of even Florida emmisions testing but it took less than an hour once a year to swap those parts!

The RZ was the 1st bike to my knoweldge forced to have cat-converters.... a sure sign the end was nigh!

Man, I fit that bike like a fine babe. It was just ergonomically perfect for my dimensions. Going over a hill and catching air I just hugged my thighs under the bulge in the tank and we remained as one. A true Armanie suit! I sold that bike when Rachel wanted a baby and a father to raise her!

Hi,

I have an S2.

So, I ended up getting the UK spec. Samco hose.
However, I forget to buy the 16m-19m stepped connector from Amber Performace. According to the previous post, the price including postage and packing is £14.79 from Amber Performance.

Just a warning, after having the Hoses on for quite awhile and whilst i was fitting the AB Short shift i checked the hose clips and they were all lose. Must be the hoses being new and shrink slightly with the heat.

If you`ve got Samcos fitted recheck the hose clips
