M100 TWO told me before it's a 16-19mm connector.

How many pipes did you get in your kit? As they do an extra one now in the kit that didn't come originally and you had to order that as well.

Throttle body inlet hose apparently  but James knows the extra hose I think.

Phone James & Amber Performance. He is knowledgeable & helpful.

When I ordered my set in September, I asked him about the extra hose. He knew exactly what I was on about and confirmed that it is now included.

The stainless jubilee clips are an optional extra (about £30-£40 well spent in my opinion). Judging from what Gazza has paid, he has bought these too.

If you are nearby (Dunstable), Amber open until 11pm on a Monday so you can go and collect them yourself.

I did read all through the thread. The pipes are a pattern from Pinky (1 I believe). The big pipe on the S2 was different to this, so instead of modifying the kit, Samco have terminated the hose short and supplied a extra hose & step-up connector.

Iain

Yes I did order the clips, but you have to order the step connector seperately as it's not in the kit.

SE owners can re-use their old ones, S2 owners have not got one.

Woody

If you only have 11 pipes I'm sure you have not got the extra one.

Also look at the 2 pictures I've added. 1 shows the 2 pipes that make the longer 1 piece S2 pipe, which you will need the step connector for.

The really long one in the set has nothing to do with the step connector.

I can confirm it is a 16/19 alloy joiner Gazza, and it was £14.79 with carriage and the dreaded.

Yes. The hoses are blue anyway. Different coloured ones simply have a different colour covering.
Speak to James at Amber-Performance about these & mention LEC(Already PM'd you his phone no). I think you'll pay around £220 including optional stainless jubilee clips. I recommend you go for these, because you will find some of your originals are corroded so badly you'll have to cut them off. (I did).

My blue set arrived this morning and look very impressive.

12 hoses in the kit, 1 step connector for an S2 and s/s clips. All for £238 delivered :D

The extra hose is very similar to the small thin 2 at the bottom of the picture I posted in my previous post.

Is there any time limit on the availability of these? I only ask as my next engine change isn't scheduled until at least next winter so unless they are going to stop production I can't bring myself to buy them yet (nice as they are!).

IIRC they`ve been doing these since the end of 2005 so i think the LEC discount is on going :-D and can`t see them stopping production, they `ll just make them up to order

Spoke to James at Amber Performance yesterday at 13:00 and ordered a set of hoses. They arrived today at 10:00 - Dunstable to Edinburgh in 21 hours. Now that's what I call service. Almost as good as Dico's Deliveries

It will no doubt take me a lot longer to get round to fitting them though

PS Black ones in stock and still doing the 30% discount for anyone else interested - pipes £154.80 and clips £23.20 - exc the dreaded stealth taxes :(

Has anyone seen the Samco green colour? Is it bright/grass green or is it a good match for BRG? (No, I don't want yellow hoses on my BRG, thanks. Trying to keep things a bit low-key under the bonnet for California smog inspectors...)
