Anyone got the fitting manual for a BBR Kit they can copy?

No but I can provide a very useful late addendum:
1) Remove kit, place on floor and stamp on it several times.
2) Go to
www.elanchips.com and purchase far more sophisticated and reasonably priced alternative.

Does anyone know how the FCD can be overridden ??

Yes, take it out. The FCD simply adjusts the signal from the MAP sensor to the ECU, hence the removal of it will restore the output to normal.
If you are wanting to override the fuel cut itself, then visit the ESM Mountain Chips page mentioned above and that will show you a potential way forward. Remember, the fuel cut is there for a reason!

I have a BBR kit lying in my garage supplied with an Elan I bought a few years ago. As I had a brand new engine fitted I did not think it a good idea to re fit the BBR kit, now I just thought it might be worth a try or someone can buy it off me if they are interested.
