My 1990 Elan was fitted with W rated Goodyear F1,s at 26.5.
Unfortunately a rear tyre was damaged & needed replacing but as you know you can no longer get 15" F1,s. The rear is now shod with 2 V rated Toyo Proxes T1-R (reinforced) 205/50 R15's.
This seems to have upset the handling, the car now oversteers & is upset by camber changes, especially over the crown of a road when overtaking.
Any ideas for a cure short of putting 2 Toyos on the front?

The T1-R has a reputation for causing nervous handling - the T1-S seems to gain more universal approval.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to sit on your arse with a blank look on your face.

I like my Toyo T1-R 225/45-16.
Nervous at first from bad tire gauges that put 39 psi to my front. Very drivable at 34 psi front 29 rear.

I've been quite satisfied with my Goodyear GSD3. They seem to strike a good balance between longevity and performance. They're much grippier than the Yokohama AVS-ES100 that I have in the rear.
