17" Wheels on Elan M100 S2.

my one had been changed to 15" as se before. why 17" ???
i dont think will look better as she is a small wide car. as deep as possible to the ground as more nice .
much better accleration and road holding.
you are english and you will not gain in speed. speed limit, bad roads.
maybe she will run more fast with 17" but where you can run 150mph+ in your country?
thats what the speedo of my s2 shows EASYLY on the motorway. she shows 155000 miles on the clock now.
im sure she will run faster but i have to stop her at 7200rpm. this is shown in the manual as the maximum engine speed.
15 " much more fun as 17". my opinion
ive driven her the first day this year 200 miles over the motorway with mostly 120 mph and more.
only fun as every trip since 2 years now.
