Lotus Elan Central

I fancied something a bit different, but didn't want to shell out for S2 alloys and have always been a bit concerned with aftermarkets with incorrect offsets.

So, I decided to go for an 'anthracite' finish on the 15" SE alloys. I'm really rather pleased with the result - just got to paint the centre caps - maybe with some logo stickers - will post some before and after pics once they are complete.

What do you guys think??

I was thinking that too.
Just needs £20 worth of Lotus centre caps to finish it off.
They must be down to oh, about 1700 left by now!

I was thinking of some black / silver lotus stickers instead of the yellow / green ones, but actually will check out the surplus sales.

What is the damage on handling and postage fees?

Usually bugger-all I think. Your local Lotus dealer should just be able to order in anything off the parts sale if IIRC.

Or you could ask DaPinky!!! <Runs for cover> :lol:

Seriously though, a little splash of colour in an OEM stylee should look very tasteful.

There are 2 wheel centres for the OZ wheels, both the same price, and they will post them to you!

Under sage advice, with new centre caps fitted the wheels look good I think. Here is a before and after pic of the worst of the wheels.

Now just need the summer to go out and enjoy it.

Wonder how some chrome silver wheel nut covers would look?
Yours aren't too bad at the moment and may not stand out much if they get that way, but it's a shame when scruffy nuts spoil the party!

I got the basic idea from a VW Beetle I saw recently. I've only done one wheel so far, in case I didn't like it when it was done. I like the way it looks, so I believe I'm going to do them all. :smt023
