Lotus logo wheel centre caps for Elan SE

Postby rival » Tue 20.03.2007, 22:38

Separate to my thread about refurbishing my wheels, I also want to replace the blank wheel centre caps with Lotus logo ones.

Both Paul Matty and South West Lotus Centre have quoted me around £60 for a set - which sounds like a lot of money for four pieces of plastic.

A separate thread on the forum seems to suggest that some Espirit caps might do? Is that right? Anybody seen a set for a more reasonable price anywhere?

Thanks,

James

James, there are also stick on wheel centres advertised on ebay. They are quite good, Gary put some on his centres about a yr ago, & i'm sure they are still ok , think they were about £18 for a set.

Found them

Postby rival » Tue 20.03.2007, 23:31

As per Geoff's suggestion, I found them at Lotus Aftersales for 4.99 each. They are listed under the Espirit section but the part number is the same as in the Paul Matty list for the Elan SE.

Ordered and on their way! £24.09 for four including delivery.

Cheers,

James
