Instruments - what are they from? Any oilthermometer?

Hi,

I´m searching for an oilthermometer cause I have to check the high oiltemps under the flat nose... I prefer the same style of the stock instruments... Do you know whether there exist any oilthermometer?

The stock instruments are VDO so this one should be easy enough to pick up but you will need a suitable sensor but it probably will not be an exact match in terms of colour of the dial.
I believe Monty fitted one in the line to or from the oil cooler.

Hi Bob,

thanks for the help. Yes we have the same technical base. The dials of the 3 clocks in the middle are slightly different but as the originals, they are in a kind of a quarter-scale with the same two bolts.

All VDO-gauges in the aftermarket i found have the halfscale like you example.

Does there any 1/4-scale exist? And/or, are the original-gauges from a specific vauxhallmodel or sth different too?

I think the basic gauge is the same, it is just rotated 45 degrees with a custom face.

You could get the dial faces changed so they all match see

and I am sure if you ask them to make up a dial face that reads the same as the one above but is rotated 45 degrees it should not be a problem

so with a full set of matched dial faces + the oil temp one in a colour etc of your choice.

I have just spoken to them and it can be done as I need a analogue clock face and no boost gauge.
