I like the "Install According to Vehicle Maker's Instructions" printed on the belt --tell them thanks so much for that! [smiley=1poke.gif]

The DAYCO cam belt listed in the USA is 95169 and Gates is 169. I have contacted Dayco in the UK and asked them cross ref the USA to the UK numbers. The number in the UK is Dayco 94197.

My Friends in the trade, rate very highly Gates Belts but not QH. They say stay clear of them unless you are driving something cheap and cheerful. I am shocked that C Neils supply these belts from QH go to your local motor factors you will find them from QH much cheaper there.
My advice is steer clear of anything other than the genuine Isuzu/Lotus belt its not worth saving money gambling on the esential maintenance of your engine.
I can supply the genuine belt through my new company Northern Sports Cars with a discount rate for LEC forum users. This also applies to all M100 service parts. PM me for more details or give me a call. 07790273095mbl

Hi Monty,
If youve got a QH belt on already I suggest you maybe run it a shorter service interval before the next change of cambelt
The Cam belt Lotus list price is £54.13 (A100E6170S) + vat
I can supply at £50.39 at the moment. If I get a group of orders together for the belt I will be able to get a better price but as a one off thats the price + vat & P+P
