CV Boot / Gaiter are these vauxhall Astra type ?

can anyone please advise me as i'm told the outer CV boots are off early vauxhall astra gte ? does anyone know this and part number ?

I`m not sure about the Vauxhall fitment, but you could do what i did.

Go into your nearest Renault dealer and order part number : 8671002726

It`s a complete gaiter kit (boot, grease, clips), and it fits the Elan outer joint perfectly. I`ve had one fitted for six months now and it`s still perfect. Oh, and they`re only £7.72+vat each.

They also suppy a tool in two parts (8671002728 + 8671002727), that allows you to fit the gaiter without removing the joint. An amazing bit of kit.

Outer CV Joint Boot, confirmed fit (as it is on my car now) inner connection is not as snug as outer, but a good full seal can be attained with the clips provided.

Note this is the manufacturer, not a sales company, they do not accept telephone orders, do not take credit card, etc...

However, if you phone up, have a bit of a chat, and ask them if you can drive over and pick it up "for cash" then the kit will cost you about two pounds.

According to the box of a part from Lotus these are the original parts manufacturers and this is the same part as used then. Hope that helps,
