Center console removal. Don't do what I did

I recently started to install AB Motorsport shift cables, but got off to a bad start. If you need to remove the center console to install shift cables or whatever, don't do what I did. Gently pry out the window switches and disconnect the plugs from the switches, but do not do the same with the mirror control. There are 4 small tabs holding the top of the switch to the base of the switch where the wires enter. Do not separate the top and bottom, but rather be aware that there is a disconnect plug about 6 inches down the wire under the center console. disconnect it there after partially lifting the center console. I separated the top from the bottom of the mirror switch only to have 3 very small contacts fly every which way from inside the switch. These are about the size of a drop of solder and next to impossible to see, let alone find. Time and luck were on my side, so I did manage to find all 3 contacts. unless you feel really lucky, do yourself a favor and leave the mirror switch in tact.
