And someone has refurb'd the wheels. Ronnie had his yellow and blue S2 wheels colour coordinated the last time I saw his cars. I very much suspect that the person he sold the BMY S2 to let things slip and the new owner has tarted things up, hence the price.

Thank you!

about ten years ago as far as I can tell from the receipts.

They are very comfortable and well made.

Haha tarted things up HahaI've spent most of lockdown rebuilding it so that everything works as it should. I've had it 4 years and spent a fortune on it as I was going to keep it. My parents have finally moved (they did give me plenty of warning!) and unfortunately this one and the Empire Green one and a rather nice 1960s S3 DHC have to go as I suddenly appear to have more cars than garages.

II considered selling or transferring the plate I did have it valued at about £400 but a neighbour pointed out that it spelt the area that I live (which is apparently quite cool) but I don't have time to fidle around.
I'll guess that the enquiry from Scotland on PH earlier today is from one of you.

What happened to the hard top Simon? Ronnie spent a fortune on his S2's including hard tops for both

Simon_P wrote:I'll guess that the enquiry from Scotland on PH earlier today is from one of you.

Not me but if it helps your sale I can vouch for the car under Ronnie's ownership and, by the look of things from the photo's, you've certainly spent a lot of time, money and effort bringing it back to better than its former glory

PS I hadn't realised you had it in your "collection" I thought you were doing up Kuching's (Simon Carrier) old one that his sister rear ended in a ditch?

J20CPR 1991 Lotus Elan SE Turbo RHD
https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/12697704
Anyone on here owned it? Low number of owners and low mileage, not much use in the last 10 years or so. Has a current MOT though.
Was sold at auction at the Nov 2021. £7280.

Mark, didn't Simon Carrier own two Pacific Blue M100s: the SE that he owned when developing the hard top and, later, Ron's blue S2 (the one that Simon_P is (or was) selling)?
Serial Elan owner: 2002 - 2012. I may yet buy another one...

My immediate thought is why the pin stripe down the side and cracked rear light cover.
It is not a car i have seen around . Fairly early edition ask if wishbones have been replaced . ( off to have another look )
Would be nice to see the interior . looks like red full leather , Would be nice to see the roof up too .
Jim Clark S2 - 1/12. The one with the Yellow spoke wheels . No 613 on dash (pushed in to factory in wrong order 615 on tub)

Sent a message to seller, have to see if I get a reply. noticed the pin stripes, strange not on the whole side of the car - bit like the front was resprayed and not re-instated. As you say there are not many pics and none of interior, but has been used a bit over the last few years. Did spot the rear lens, as it passed MOT recently assume that it is not an MOT issue.

Went to have a look, interior pics now added to ad and car looks good for its age - but this is the first m100 I have been to look at.
Car off road for winter so not taken out on road.
