Custom made long low ramps!

So, if I understood that correctly, what you are effectively saying is a payment by cheque or electronic transfer, organised through here, would drop the total price to £132 delivered without you being out of pocket (and in fact would make you £3 better off)??

I run a printed circuit board design business involving some heavy technical issues and I am involved with some very eccentric electronic engineers!!! It helps to be a little off the wall yourself!!! as well.

Trouble with tools section is I don't think as many people source this section as the problem folders.

I would be interested in your ramps. I have access to hydraulic ramp at the mo, but not for ever.

This and my wind deflector will tie up xmas pressies.

We have decided that it is just not practical to do custo versions or a vrsion wit removable ramps just at the moment.

So we are only doing the standard ones.

That's great, I am pleased they are OK.

We have the mig now so the welds will be neater....yes, we are open for business..n fact there are a pair ready to go!!!

I received Mikeydude's ramps a while ago: They arrived rapidly, are sprayed silver and are neatly made. I immediately put them into use with the Elan. They are dead easy to drive onto owing to the shallow incline and provide more than enough height to work underneath. There is no question over stability or the like; they are rock solid.

The car has spent the interim period supported on them. I have used a very large wooden wedge to make a jacking platform on them which means you can remove the wheel whilst elevated which is great for access.

I've just finished fitting a new steering rack and the ramps got the car nice and high which no doubt helped make a tough job a little easier. I'd thoroughly recommend these. Pics to follow, and no, I'm not on commission!

Got a set of these off Mikey after seeing them on ebay. Sent the cheque last week and got the ramps this morning. Havent had chance to put the Elan on them yet, but they look bang on. Sturdy too.

Just thought you may be interested. I have just recieved a set of ramps from c j autos They are low to drive onto but are adjustable, you can then raise them to twice the normal hight of a ramp with a rachet. There not cheap but well worth the expence. Sorry if anyone has covered this already.

did,nt mean to upset you your ramps look very good and if i had not bought these i would have gone for those myself. Geofsmith your right lets keep it in the lec family if we can. it was just another option for people with money to burn.

No I am not upset at all, I think looking at other option is great.

The best thing about these type is that they are compact.

We might try and do something with removable ramp sections in the future to make them more flexible.

Also, we need to work out a way of using a jack with them so we can take wheels off while on the ramps.

I first thought about adding a bit on the inside of the ramps, but it would be too big and messy, so I thought perhaps a frame platform specially made to sit the trolleyjack in.

How easy are they to lift, can you do each side in one ore do you have to move from one ramp to the other and lift a bit at a time?
