BEST dried-on WAX-REMOVER ever

Postby nitroman » Wed 10.10.2007, 23:29

I've had this product for 3-years & though it was bunk. Well, smart guy (who will go un-named!) finally read the directions. Turns out there was a plastic-plug in the outlet funnel of the applicator so the solution doesn't dry-out when placed in storage. Having lept that hurdle I applied it to a grainy-plastic surface that has had the same dried-on wax for 4-years. It took 2 applications, but it was removed ENTIRELY! I had tried paint thinners, industrial solvents which I can't even remember, lacquer-thinner... you name it. Nothing worked.

So, If you ever get wax on a non-painted surface I highly suggest using this: http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-cooper/griots_garage_dried_on_wax_remover_8oz_11216.html

If practical, it would be best to mask-off the non-painted area prior to waxing.
Strive for perfection in everything. (given time)
Take the best that exists & make it better. (given inclination)
If it doesn't exist, create it. (God did)
Ignore what I say. (good advice)
