However, the hose swap took me a lot longer than the 6 hours i read somewhere else on the forum. I had to clean EVERY bit from the reddish rust-goo that was all over the enginebay since multiple hoses failed.
So i took the car for a quick spin to see if all is watertight again (it is so far) But after a couple of minutes white smoke from under the bonnet! This of course was no surprise, since the turbo heated-up even if not in use. (the engine uses it as a heat sink

Then: A quick spray on the (cooled) turbo with brake cleaner. You can see the Cleaner evaporate WITH the WD40.
Thought this was a nice trick to share.
Be safe: Do not use on a hot engine / turbo though....
