Any chance of a picture please, I can do some Wiki action.

Does anyone know if Heyco made "our tool kits" for other manufacturers ?

(I know Heyco did tool kits for other cars, but they were a different style of kit)

The amount of tools you carry and the thickness of the new bags, I'm surprised you don't need to double wrap. :D

My original SE was delivered with a toolkit. However, on one of the services, the car, and the toolkit came back....bit the penknife did not. Not needing the toolkit to do work on the car as I have an adequately equipped garage, I only found this out later and could not pinpoint where it had gone missing; GGGGRRRR.

I was not surprised to find when I opened the toolkit of my current S2 that... there was no penknife. Any suggestions of where to source a replacement gratefully received when I shall keep it in the toolbox....in my garage!

I've worked on trying to source the Manufacturer for a while, the rest of the kit is Heyco, but identifying the Pen knife is more problamatic.

I've got a few more avenues to go down and hopefully that will give us the confirmation we require .

OK....

On the Pen knife front I'll come clean.... I was hoping for a gem of information, but I didn't get it... :(

Here goes.... the manufacture is.................... solingen (BARLOW SOLINGEN)

and yes, thier pen and pocket knifes are all over Ebay.

Our knife is not unique thou.... well it is cos it's got the Lotus emblem on it, but you know what I mean.

Whilst I'm not going to hand it to you on a plater, because there are several different varients and number of options available, you can do a little research of your own... :-D

Now if you've got this far down without going to ebay to blag a bargin, I'll give you a couple of links to get you a head of the game.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWAX:IT

So.... If your looking for a suitable replacement pen knife you most probably don't have one, so here's a couple of pictures to compare it with....

Lotus needs to sell a Lotus brand pocket knife. These are very desirable. I've only seen one.

Just a quick quote from the RH Bibs

Those kits were supplied in V8's and S4s/GT3's.

What further info are you after? I can write a brief instruction manual if you want

I think that ties up nearly all the loose ends.

Keep those Ebay eyes peeled...

Not quite correct and a little expensive...
