I am "Rimbaldien", 35 year-old car enthusiast from France.
Lucky enough to have a lovely Jaguar mk2 and a 4200GT cambiocorsa, I am currently looking for a convertible.
I have always been very keen on Lotus and their particularities, and the M100 in particular.
The look alone is fantastic.
I live not far from the Hockenheimring, and we do see a lot of Elise/Exige, but the M100 is a rare sight.
My interest grew enough in recent months to start looking for a blue LHD M100.
I have already read the buyer's guide, and learnt a lot.
Recently I found a car in the EU that sparked my interest.
However: it has been fully resprayed and with very high mileage (190,000km). Also the engine bay is so clean it is sparkling.
The wheels are 17'' (and quite ugly if you ask me), Probably aftermarket.
Do you think the car is still worth a visit ? It is rather far from home, to say the least so I'd rather have second opinions on it ....
Can the wheels be swapped for 15'' or 16'' without any other modifications ?
